About as close to black as you can get, this Ajuga is a bit more chunky in appearance than other Ajuga. Will do quite well in our climate in full sun or shade. Because of the dark appearance, we recommend a nice sunny spot, perhaps next to a creamy hosta.

Great for borders. Combine with cream hostas.
