Iris sibirica 'Caesar's Brother' (Siberian Iris)

Thumbnail Photo

Award winner in the industry and certainly an award winner in my book. Deep purple self and yellow and white blaze with black veining. I've seen clumps of this one six feet across. Wow display.

Grows in moist acidic soils. Plant rhizomes just barely in the soil. Combine with Filipendula 'Venusta', Hesperis matronalis, blue poppy, forget-me-nots, Brunnera.
