A few years ago I got a start of this rose. I was so overwhelmed when it started to bloom the next year. I could hardly see the foliage for the blooms and they were so dainty, well I fell in love. I moved it to it's own prominent spot and put a nice bamboo fence behind it. Sweet! Coppery-light green glossy foliage frames the small shell pink blossoms. Seems to be much hardier than posted.

Zone: 4

Price: $22.00

An award-winning shrub rose blooms continuously throughout the season with fragrant clusters of three to six. Characteristics of a hybrid tea but with the hardiness of the Parkland Series roses, the semi-double luxurious-velvety red blooms are spectacular. Height to three feet.

Probably the most fragrant of the Explorer Series, this rose launches off with deep pink buds and matures to rich fuchsia, double three-inch blooms. Flowering freely with a rugosa-type shrub foliage appearance reaching 3 to 4 foot, disease resistant and extra hardy definitely make up for the thorns.
