We’re pleased to offer 14 varieties of hardy geranium this season. Consult our 2004 Plant List for a complete listing. Moose don’t like this one. The new ‘Roxanne’ (pictured) has ‘to die for’ 2.5 inch violet blue flowers and marbled, deep green and chartreuse foliage. Leave space for this one to fill out its habit of 2 to 3 square feet. Few plants provide the spiky interest in the garden like grasses. We’re pleased to offer eleven varieties from Steve Schmidt’s American Ornamental Nursery. Alopecurus pratensis ‘Aureovariegatus’ is a terrific border plant with a nice gold edge. Miscanthus sinensis purpurascens turns a nice red as it matures. Calamagrostis acutiflora ‘Karl Forester’ (pictured) needs a spot all it’s own with its tall, 5 foot spikes. Surround with Heuchera ‘Purple Petticoats’ for a stunning affect.
