How to OrderFritz Creek Gardens is home to Alaska Hardy® Perennials. In season, we grow and sell more than 500 different varieties of cold-hardy perennials, and many varieties of trees, shrubs, roses, and vines. If you can't visit us in person, many of these plants can be purchased by phone, fax or through the mail and shipped to you in Alaska. We ship only within Alaska. Here's how to order: 1. Browse through our online plant catalog or check out our Master Plant List for plants currently available during 2009. Note that some plants sell out quickly and some are not available this year. 2. Print our order form and fill out accordingly. 3. You can then phone in your order to (907) 235-4969 during our regular business hours, fax it to (907) 235-8116 any time, or mail it to us at Fritz Creek Gardens, PO Box 15226, Homer, AK 99603. 4. We will confirm your order and alert you to when your plants are on the way. Prices & PaymentPrices are based on size of container. Some special or collector plants may cost more.
We offer discounts for large purchases of at least $800 and up, and for licensed landscapers and designers. Please ask about our discount program. Payment must accompany your mail order. We gladly accept checks. Please make checks payable to Fritz Creek Gardens. We gladly accept Diner's Club, Discover Card, MasterCard and VISA credit cards. Payment should include both the cost of the plants ordered and the shipping charge (see below). Minimum Order AmountOur minimum order amount is $25, not including shipping. ShippingWe ship anywhere in Alaska. Just like our gardens, our shipping season is dependent upon Mother Nature. We try to start shipping by April 15 and continue through September 15. We will do our best to ship on the dates you request. Plants will be shipped by Homer Stageline Parcel Service, UPS ground or by the U.S. Postal Service, depending on your location. UPS cannot ship to a post office box; please include a physical address when you order. Our shipping charge is $1.75 for each perennial plant ordered. Note that roses, shrubs and some specialty plants cost more, depending on size and weight. We will inform you of these charges. SubstitutesWe don't want to disappoint you if you have your heart totally set on a plant, but if we run out may we substitute? We will try as hard as we can to fulfill your first requests. Sometimes, however, we may have sold out of certain plants. With your order, please indicate whether substitutes are acceptable. Many times we can simply substitute a different variety or cultivar of the same plant. If you do not wish to receive substitutes, and we cannot completely fill your order, we will issue you a credit for other products, or refund that amount by check or a credit back to your card. GuaranteeWe guarantee our plants to be healthy and hardy. We try our very best to make sure the plant matches its name. With all the name changes lately, there's a tiny chance we might mess up! Please let us know and we will make it right. We'll either replace the plant or refund your money. Please be prompt and let us know within five days of receipt. Likewise, please let us know within five days of receipt if your order is damaged in any way. We guarantee that plants leave our nursery healthy and well-packed. Damage during shipping can occur.
