Guidelines for Weddings and Receptions

Are you looking for a beautiful setting in which to hold an outdoor wedding, a reception or event? In addition to our nursery and garden center, Fritz Creek Gardens features 13 individual display gardens. They are an enchanting tapestry of plants, unique garden art and inspired designs -- a perfect backdrop for your special event.

Fritz Creek Gardens is pleased to allow private use of these beautiful gardens. All special garden functions may be arranged by contacting the office at (907) 235-4969 or my email to ritajo@alaskahardy.com during regular business hours.

Fee Schedule

Wedding fee for 15 people or less is $100.

Wedding fee for 16-60 people weekdays is $250.

Wedding fee for 16-60 people weekends is $350.

Cleaning/damage deposit (refundable*) is $300.

A non-refundable deposit equal to the wedding fee must be received to confirm reservation. Any balance due must be received at least 30 days before the event.

All fees are totally refundable if cancelled at least 30 days before the event.

* The cleaning/damage deposit will be refunded within 10 days of the event if the grounds are left as found.

What Is Included

The use of beautiful gardens.

Free use of the garden for wedding rehearsal (please schedule ahead).

Access to all decks, bridges and gazebos for photographing.

Electrical hookup.

What Is Not Included

Exclusive use of gardens as they are always open to the public. You will be assigned an area that will be for your specific and private use.

Use Restrictions

You may bring in chairs and tents, have music, throw real flower petals, have food and alcohol with appropriate permits.

You may not pick flowers for any reason, allow children unsupervised, drive vehicles into gardens, damage gardens.
